Crib is done!

My husband's grandfather finished building our crib this week! I think it looks great! I can't believe how fast he can build things like this..it blows my mind. I thought it was cute that he went to babies r us and picked out a bedding set to go with it too.lol (even though it probably won't be the one we use.)Its a princess/castle thems. We will keep it as a back up. I was so excited last night that I couldn't wait to put the mattress cover and all the goodies on it! As of right now its in our living room until we get some more stuff cleaned out of the nursury...hopefully this weekend! The only other thing that is bugging me right now is finding a cute girly crib bedding set to match the rug we have. The rug is one that my Grandma had made for me when I was a baby so I thought it would be cute to use in her room...its just so dang hard to match! So here it is..any suggestions are definitely welcome!!!! Its driving me nuts!

Just a little update..

I think I forgot to say on my last post that baby Joanna is measuring a week ahead so we MIGHT be looking at an October baby for sure! Which would be super cool because my Bday is Oct 14th, H's is the 22nd and we got married on the 27th!! Yay for October!

How far along: almost 22 weeks!

Total weight gain: total I think it is 8lbs..give or take;)

How much does baby weigh: apparently a pound as of last week!

Maternity clothes: Of course! I even found "tall" black pants at Motherhood and I was so excited. Also, the maternity underwear is my new best friend!

Stretch marks: Not yet!

Sleep: Some nights are better than others, so nights I am out like a light and don't hear the alarm clock!

Best moment this week: A few days ago at 7AM, I was still laying in the bed and she just started dancing around in my belly! It was amazing and you could see the whole thing from the outside....punch, punch, kick...roll!

Movement: Look above! Constantly!

Food cravings: Nothing really I have been eating pretty healthy lately!

Belly button in or out: Obviously still an innie

What I miss: Having more energy out on the boat/in the sun..it drains me.

What I'm looking forward to: getting the nursury done!!

Milestone: I just feel lucky the baby has been happy and healthy so far and that we are having a beautiful BIG little girl!

It's a girl!!

So we found out Monday our little baby is a girl! In a way deep down I knew it was a girl. People at work kept insisting it was a boy, I think they almost had me talked to into it!lol But nope, she is all girl and is as healthy and cute as can be! Her name is Joanna Lynn. (after my Grandma Joanna) :) We can't wait to meet her..Here are all of her fabulous pics from her first photo shoot!

How far along: 18 weeks and 5 days

Total weight gain: I think total I have gained about 4lbs

How much does baby weigh: 8.5 oz. according to the bump..

Maternity clothes: Heck yea! Its all I can wear.

Stretch marks: Not yet, but my belly has been pretty itchy the past couple days..so we'll see.

Sleep: Some nights are better than others. I am actually staying up past 9:30 now..only if I have to;)

Best moment this week: I am pretty darn sure I felt the baby move..its inconsistent but there.:)

Movement: Look above! I can not wait for my husband to feel the movement from the outside.:)

Food cravings: Nothing really, it changes from whatever I feel like on a certain day. I HAVE to always have a good breakfast though!

Milestone: Just being ever so thankful we have been healthy this far and I pray that everything looks perfect on the ultrasound. I am truly blessed.:)
