Belly pics.:) Happy Mother's Day!

Here are all the belly pics I have taken so far. From about 10 weeks to now 15 weeks. I can't really see a big progression so far, I guess because I was so bloated initially and now everything is slowly turning into the real bump!:) I can't wait to get the BIG belly pics!LOL

You know I can't resist..

A good poem!
(I found this one in a post on thebump.)

I do not have a face to see,
Or to put inside a frame.
I do not have soft cheeks to kiss,
I don't yet have a name.
You can't yet hold my tiny hands,
Nor whisper in my ear.
It's still too soon to sing a song,
Or cuddle me so near.
But all will change come November,
That's when they say I'm due.
I'm your new grandchild,
I can't wait till I meet you.
All I ask between now and then
Is your patience while I grow.
I promise I'll be worth the wait,
Because of all the love we'll know.
So what I have to give you now,
Is a wish to you from me.
I cannot wait to be a part
Of this wonderful family.

Almost 15 weeks! Wooo hoo!

I need to get better about posting! I feel like its been forever.:( I can't believe that I am almost 15 weeks! The sickness is pretty much gone, but now the bad sinus headaches are here. Every day around 2 or 3 here come the headaches. One got so bad the other night I finally broke down and took some Tylenol...which I was trying to avoid any kind of medicine. I am slowly getting back some energy too, some days when I get home(and don't have a headache) I will cook dinner and then go for a 30 minute walk or so. It feels good because I don't feel like such a couch potatoe anymore.:)

Our big ultrasound is JUNE 15TH at 9:00AM!!! YAY! The countdown is on!

I love the fruit comparisons!:)

Continuing the march towards normal proportions, baby's legs now outmeasure the arms. And, finally, all four limbs have functional joints. Your fetus is squirming and wiggling like crazy down in the womb, though you probably still can't feel the movements.

12 week appt.

Well yesterday was my first appointment with my OB.:) She is really nice and I like her alot. She is one of those doctors that really cares and takes the time to talk and ask questions. 5 of my friends that are farther along than I am go to her too so that is reassuring. When I first got there they took my blood, which is always an experience because they can never find a vein and then when they do it blows and causes everything to bruise.:( Then they took a urine sample, then I was told to strip down. She proceeded to feel on the boobies, do a pap and a quick ultrasound on a tiny little machine. Right when she turned on the machine there it was!!! She smiled and said look the baby is moving around! It was so funny because I could see he/she moving it's arms and legs around like crazy. I said, look at my little wiggle worm!! She let me watch for a minute or so and that was awesome. Not only is it great to see the heartbeat but it was even more reassuring to see it moving around.:) All in all it was a long appointment but it was great. I feel like I am officially on the right track. We have our next appt on May 19th and then the BIG gender u/s on June 15th!! It can not get here fast enough!

Baby Lime!

Your fetus currently enjoys a 1:1 ratio between body and head, and has skin so transparent that blood vessels show right through. But, fingers and toes are no longer webbed, and hair follicles, tooth buds and nail beds are forming -- setting up a significantly more attractive future.

Can you believe it?! My baby now has fingers and little toesies! I have a calendar on our fridge and it tells you what baby is developing everyday and I am totally obsessed with it!lol I tell H everyday at dinner what is going on with our little peanut. It's truly amazing.:)

On another note..wow, have my emotions been crazy lately. I was flipping through the TV the other day and came across CMT(country music) and that song "They were Angels in Waiting" came on....oooh man I balled withing seconds of watching it, like uncontrollably.lol I had to even laugh at myself. Other than that, little things get on my nerves too. I can either cry, or all I want to do is sleep. BUT I have to say all in all my symptoms have been minimal. I deal with the daily indestion, burping and farting everyday..but I have gotten kinda used to that!:) My next update should be April 20th- I graduated from the RE at 9 weeks and I will going to see my OB! So we will see what that brings......

10 weeks!

What a difference two weeks makes!! The doctor even sounded surprised to see such a big healthy baby at this stage. The u/s was awesome, the little baby was moving around and you could see the arms and legs.:) This was the first time he let us hear the heartbeat and that was great, it was 152bpm.
I have to give a HUGE THANK YOU to candy_mandy, Alma and mrsmel. I wrote in my last post about the cute little baby set Alma sent me and this week I received a pooh bear baby set from mrsmel and a cute green polka dot elephant, book, and a very soft baby blanket from candy_mandy!!!!(pictures coming soon!) It really made me feel special and all of these things have already gone in to the future baby's room! THANK YOU SO MUCH! You will all be getting things in the mail this week I promise!:) That was so thoughtful, I am so very lucky to have found such a good group of girls.:)
