Before the HSG the RE said..oh this should be nothing..a quick 2-3 min procedure. Well when he went to go stick the catheter in my cervix it would not go up far enough and it hurt like a BIOTCH! So he puts the forceps back in and inserts the catheter again and tell me that he has to put it further up because my cervix is being "stubborn"...Wonderful...it was a burning sensation and tears started to come to my eyes...ugh. So what was supposed to be 2-3 mins ended up being 15 mins! Good news: Everything was clear! no blockages!
Then, after the HSG they wanted me to have another internal u/s to see what my ovaries were doing. So I got undressed once again and there were 20 eggs/follicles on my left ovary and 16 on my right...but then she says "Wait! what is that?" I am like WTH? what do you mean. She says ohhhh good it looks like you just ovulated on your own! I saw this perfect little egg--well let me clarify..a corpus luteum that had made it down to my uterus! YAY!
So they sent me on my way across the street to get b/w done to see if in fact I ovulated on my own...and we should get that back tomorrow!:) So I am in the waiting game and didnt even know it!!

I had the same thing done with the catheter. (sp?) It hurts like a bitch and I teared up, too. I'm excited for you and I hope this is your month!
Has your DH had a SA? That was the next step for us. I am glad everything was clear and will be waiting to hear the results of your b/w... maybe this will be it for you! :)
